NEXT CHAPTER MEETING AND COMING SPECIAL EVENT
Wednesday, June 12, 2024. In lieu of a regular meeting, the Scioto Valley 99s will meet at 5:00 p.m. at the Lockbourne Historical Hall & Event Center, 206 Vause Street, Lockbourne. The Village of Lockbourne, Rediscover Lockbourne, and the Ohio Memorial Chapter Tuskegee Airmen have invited us to their Open House for the Lockbourne/Rickenbacker Air Force Base Memorial Wall Project and to celebrate the 2024 Columbus Air Show! Special Event, 2024 Columbus Air Show, June 14-16! Our chapter will once again have an information booth and our very popular replica of the simulator that Amelia Earhart used to show children the basics of flight. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 7:00 p.m. Location: KOSU old flight school. Following the business meeting, Christine Mortine shared some 1960s pilot study material she recently found in a bookstore.
Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Hosted by Jo-Ann Prater at her home. Jo-Ann told us all about her trip to the Ninety-Nines International Meeting in Jordan, where she was recognized for her years of humanitarian efforts in Honduras. She shared pictures of the wonderful tours of various sites in Jordan.

Wednesday, November 8, 2023. ChemQuest lab, O’Brien Road, Hilliard, 7:00 – 8:30. Meeting followed by safety quiz.
Wednesday, October 11, 2023. ChemQuest lab, O’Brien Road, south of Hilliard, 7:00 – 8:30. Debrief on NCS99s Fall Meeting.
Special Event: North Central Section 99s Fall Meeting, Dublin, Ohio, Sept. 29 – Oct. 1. Belles of the Buckeye State.
Highlights of the weekend included Friday tours of the Champaign County Aviation Museum and the Mid-America Flight Museum, both at the Urbana Airport; Saturday lunchtime presentation by deaf pilot Jenny Hurst; Saturday seminar featuring speakers Ron Kaplan, Wendy Hollinger and Susan Reid (Jerrie Mock’s sister), and Danielle Reese; and Saturday evening banquet keynote address by Christine Mortine. The Saturday morning business meeting was offered via Zoom.
